Where in China we deliver
Asian Express International Movers runs company offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, with its head office in Hong Kong. These are the cities where your shipment is handled by our own staff rather than a subcontracted agent.
We deliver throughout mainland China and Hong Kong. The difference between the cities listed here and everywhere else is who handles the shipment on arrival: in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong that is an Asian Express office, and in the Pearl River Delta — Shenzhen included — it is our Guangzhou team.
That matters most at customs. Clearance of personal effects in China is a local process involving your documents and, often, a physical inspection. Having colleagues rather than contractors at that point is the difference between a query resolved in an afternoon and a shipment sitting in bond while messages cross time zones.

Moving somewhere else in China?
Chengdu, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Nanjing, Tianjin, Wuhan, Qingdao, Dalian and Xiamen are all regular destinations. They are served from the nearest of our offices with inland delivery onward, which affects the delivery timeline rather than the process. We have not built a page for each because there is nothing city-specific we could honestly tell you that this page does not already say — ask us and we will give you the routing for your actual address.
How the destination affects your quote
| Factor | Varies by city? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Sea transit time | Slightly | Different port pairs and transhipment patterns |
| Inland delivery | Significantly | Distance from the arrival port to the delivery address |
| Customs process | No | Mainland China applies the same national framework at every port |
| Clearance duration | Somewhat | Port workload and whether inspection is called |
| Delivery access | By building, not by city | Lift size and compound access matter more than which city you are in |
| Hong Kong | Entirely different | A separate customs territory with its own import rules |
Questions people ask before booking
Do you deliver outside the major cities?
Yes, throughout mainland China. Delivery to a smaller city or a provincial address is handled from the nearest of our offices with inland transport onward; expect the delivery leg to add days rather than weeks.
Is it cheaper to ship to a coastal city?
Generally yes, because inland transport in China is a real cost. A shipment to Shanghai or Guangzhou avoids the inland leg that Beijing or Chengdu deliveries involve.
Can I change my delivery address after the shipment has sailed?
Within the same city, usually. To a different city, it depends how far the shipment has progressed and may mean re-entering the goods. Tell us as soon as you know.
